  Gersahi Cardenas calls himself a manager, but when one of his employees charged me $917.00 for a one night stay, he was quick to say it was not his mistake. He did not take ownership of the mistake and would take 5 business days before they release the money. He was loud and rudely let me know know that he “can go tell me to my face if I don’t understand their 5 day hold.” Not sure what type of training they have if any in customer service, but if you call yourself a manager then have some professionalism or get a job where you don’t deal with people if you are really not fond of them. The teenager at the front desk was probably new and had little to no knowledge about their policies, but had more class and professionalism then their so called manager.

  Area is near Interstate 75 and is surrounded by other motels/hotels but we were limited by room non-availability because of the exodus from Hurricane Erma and the emergency electric company's crews being stationed in Georgia. The room we had here was nicely furnished and clean. Hotel could not confirm a second night but the lady at the front desk offered to call us in the morning if a cancellation allowed her to book us for the next night. I panicked and made arrangements that first evening to book another motel farther up north. She kept her promise and did call us with the offer of another night. I really commend her for that but we went on north to a confirmed two night stay in the mountains of Tennessee. Not her fault I panicked, so I'm sure next time we need a room in that area we will call this motel first.
